Case History

Patient with Back & Neck Pain Due to Car Accident

Overview
In 2021, an estimated 2.5 million people were injured in motor vehicle traffic crashes in the US. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that rear-end collisions are the most frequent type of collision that occurs on U.S. roads. Whiplash, a neck injury, is the most common injury in a rear-end accident. Injuries from car accidents are often debilitating and lifelong.
Problem
Susan H, an Occupational/MLD therapist, has been grappling with back and neck pain since a car accident over two decades ago. Her pain caused sleep disturbances and anxiety every night.
Solution
Upon recommendation from a physician, Susan decided to try the Neuroglide pain relief device. She used the Neuroglide every evening before bed time in an effort to relieve her back and neck pain.
Outcome
Within two weeks, Susan experienced a significant reduction in her back and neck pain, improved sleep quality, and reduced anxiety associated with her pain. Encouraged by her personal success, she introduced Neuroglide to patients in the rehabilitation clinic where she was employed as a therapist. Notably, these patients saw pain reduction within just 30-minutes. As a result, Susan decided to conduct a clinical trial at her clinic combining Neuroglide with modified MLD therapy. Now this treatment has become the standard of care for her patients.
